The Convention People’s Party, CPP has taken a swipe at President Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo for demanding the state to pay his wife every month.

According to the leadership of CPP, President Akufo-Addo who has failed the people of Ghana after making things unbearable, he wants his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo to receive Ghc21, 000 monthly.

The second lady, Semira Bawumia, wife of the Vice-President Alhaji Mahmoudu Bawumia expected to also receive same as Cabinetministers.

CPP indicated that President Akufo-Addo’s move shows he has ran out of ideas to handle the economy, hence need to Levi poor Ghanaian taxpayers to pay their spouses at the presidency.

To this, CPP saluted the men in Ghana for doing well to feed their wives tjrough house keeping money every day to take care of the home.

The Chairperson and leader of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Sarpomaa Akosua Frimpomaa Kumankumah cautioned detractors of the party telling them to leave the party alone if they have nothing good to offer.

According to her, the paid agents of other parties within CPP have for a long time working against the progress of the party.

Addressing the press conference on Monday, 12th July, 2021, at the party headquarters in Accra, the chairperson Nana Sarpongmaa warned that they would crush any mole whose job is to destroy the party as they did to Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

“We are doing everything to remove these paid agents who are bent on destroying our party just like the stooges who collaborated with the CIA and overthrew Ghana’s multi-visionary founder and President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah”, she bemoaned.

Nana Sarpongmaa assured the CPP fraternity of United party and resolve to fight forward.

Nana Sarpomaa Kumankumah, Leader and Chairperson for CPP.

For her, is high time for Ghanaians come back for CPP as the right alternative to succeed the failed and clueless Nana Addo led NPP government.
