The NDC Parliamentary Candidate, PC for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, a suburb of Accra, Emmanuel Adotey Allotey has been giving the ruling NPP sleepless nights because they have nothing visibly to show for their stewardship closed 20 years.
According to him, Anyaa/Sowutuom Constituency has problems regarding motorable roads, street lights, gutters, water amongst many other things, however they have an MP representing the people of this area in parliament.
He hinted that most of the projects in the Anyaa/Sowutuom were done under the Prof Atta-Mills and John Mahama, JM which is today benefiting the people of the constituency.
The NDC could bank their hopes on the development of the NDC in Anyaa/Sowutuom to harness more votes for the NDC to unseat Shirley Ayorkor Botwey this time around, he argued.
In an interview with National Tymes in Accra, he indicated the NDC have superior programmes to build on what they did in the area to ensure the roads, street lights and other social amenities get closer to the people of Anyaa/Sowutuom.
The NDC PC for the area, Emmanuel Adotey Allotey disclosed they have visited the all the chiefs and the custodians of the land including the Zango chiefs and the Imams for their advise, support and blessings going into this year’s elections.
The party in the area also visited the old age and sick persons who are with the NDC but due to their condition they are inactive. But they promised they are with the party both in spirit and physical to ensure the NDC recover Anyaa/Sowutuom seat this time around.
Ayorkor Botwey, MP for the area is restless not only the young Adotey Alotey is giving her nightmare, but also what is there for her to campaign on. She took the people of Anyaa/Sowutuom for granted and has failed them miserably and busily going round pleading and dishing out money for votes.
