The 40,000US-Dollars Presidential bribery involving President Addo Dankwah Akuffo-Addo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is daring the President to avail himself to take a lie test before the dress God of Nogokpo, Anlo if he claims did not receive 40,000 US-Dollars at his Nima residence as captured by an undercover journalist.

Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, Former Deputy Finance Minister

Addressing the media in Accra, in response to the NPP’s claim that President Akuffo-Addo did not receive bribe concealed in a small brown envelope, but T — shirts, the Ketu South MP, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey said Nana Addo was lying in top ilof the bribery and that if he had it in him, he should avail himself to the Africa type of spiritual justice.

The ‘Corrupt’ President Akuffo-Addo who was caught red-handed by the undercover journalist saw Presiden Akuffo-Addo in hurry with beems of smiles as he stretched his two hands to receive the $40,000 as bribe from an individual ostensibly to influence his office.

The Ketu South MP and former Deputy Finance Minister argued that Nana Addo has over the last four years hiding behind Christian rhetorics to defraud the State by superintending over dozens of corruption scandals.

During the press briefings on Tuesday, December 2, the NDC presented incontrovertible evidence of the President Akuffo-Addo receiving bribe, Mr Fiavi Kwetey said this latest revelation confirms his party’s long-held view that Nana Addo and the NPP were only deceiving Ghanaians while they parade themselves as saints fighting corruption.

“I come from Nogokpo in the Volta Region and a few of you know Nogokpo, you dare not lie”, the Hon MP posited.

He challenged that, “If President Akufo-Addo actually says he is not corrupt, let him come with me to Nogokpo and see whether he can lie there, he will not”.

“….because in the name of this ‘Holy and Holy’, he can swear in the Bible and lie because there is no fear”, he argued.
