The Egle Party has joined the National Democratic Congress, NDC to help rescue Ghana from its current situation in the clueless pair of hands of the Akuffo-Addo/Mahamudu Bawumia led New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
David Arthur, General Secretary of the Egle Party said a thorough consultations with the rank and file of the party, the founder, the grassroots and the National Executive Committee unanimously agreed not to file candidates for both the Presidential and Parliamentary elections across the country, but to mobilize all effort to throw its weight behind the NDC and former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2020 General Elections.

Under the leadership of Nana Addo, corruption has deepened poverty level of the people and left many dreams shuttered in the country. Egle Party chief scribe added that it is sad that the NPP received Ghanaians that Nana Akuffo-Addo was incorruptible and he succeeded to become President of the Republic, but for his unchanged colours, he shows he is the biggest enabler of corruption with corruption thriving with impunity under his watch.

“This is the man who promised to fight corruption head on when voted for, …..today, corruption is fighting Ghana under the supervision of President Akuffo Addo, the most corrupt president Ghana has ever seen since independence”, Mr. Arthur pointed out.
The Party further disclosed President Akuffo Addo is an embodiment and the symbol of corruption, adding that Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) in an independent research disclosed that Ghana has lost about 9.6 billion Cedis to corruption from 2017 to 2019. Ghc9.6 billion lost to corruption under President Akuffo Addo in just three years is enough evidence that the NPP and the Nana Addo government certainly does not deserve 4more years.

Mr. Arthur, Egle Party chief scribe further cited the absurd nature in which the Auditor General, Daniel Domelevo, who was fighting corruption under this government was hounded out which clearly shows the lack of will by Nana Addo to fight the canker.

The Egle Party, in line with its quest to help the NDC win the elections 2020, will from today, deploy members to join the NDC campaign teams at all levels – Constituency, Regional and at the National level. Mr. Arthur indicated the party would run separate campaigns for H.E. John Dramani Mahama, in line with the same agenda.
At the introductory ceremony of the Egle Party’s elected Executives, it was realized that most of the issues the EGLE Party decided to pursue coincided with the action programme of the NDC as captured in the People’s Manifesto.

This Revelation showed that the National Democratic Congress led by President John Dramani Mahama and the EGLE Part have so much in common.
He indicated that as a Social Democratic Party, they have a social responsibility to work hard to unseat “this incompetent, inept and corrupt family and friends sakawa government” led by Nana Akuffo-Addo-Bawumia.
“…..it is the social responsibility of every Ghanaian to ensure the end of the wanton dissipation of public funds and state resources on only one family in the country,” Arthur stated.

“……a government that promised heaven on earth, is delivering real hell to its people. A government that has over 125 ministers and borrowed over 140 billion Cedis and yet has nothing to show for it. Isn’t it a shame that instead of this clueless government to apologies to Ghanaians, they have come to seek re-election for four more years? I ask them this question, four more to do what? Four more for corruption? Four more for family and friends? Four more for press suppression? Or four more for Agyapa and four more for PDS looting? Four more for mismanagement of the economy? Or four more to collapse Ghanaian businesses”, Egle Party quizzed.
Aware Kwaku Agyekum, Chairman and leader of the Egle Party argued that the UP-NPP were the cause of the eractic power outages (dum sor) in this country which many governments could not solve until President John Dramani Mahama came to resolve it before NPP took over in 2017.
So no one should be deceived that the deceiveful NPP resolve the situation. They have not added single megawatt to the Kalpower imported by President John Dramani Mahama amongst other power Budges which beefed up the power situation in the country currently providing so-called free electricity to Ghanaians.
