THE LARGEST opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has inaugurated a number of adhoc committees to steer the affairs of the party into victory in 2024 general elections.

Former President John Dramani Mahama and the 2020 NDC running mate for Mr. Mahama, Prof. Jean Naana Oppoku-Agyemang are also part of the Political Committee.

During the swearing in of these various committee members, the National Chairman of the Party, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia urged the committee members to work assiduously to help rescue Ghana from the scavengers of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr Mahamoudu Bawumiah.

NDC NATIONAL CHAIRMAN, MR. JOHNSON ASIEDU NKETIA (GEN. MOSQUITO)

It is evident that the country is fast deteriorating at a rate which needs to be rescued from the current deplorable state to save the country.

According to Mr. Asiedu Nketia, the current happenings in the sub-region with regards to the coup should be a bit concerned to all Ghanaians.

He opined that the country has never come this low where corruption has taken centre stage in almost every government institution.

Mr Nketia believes that recent leaked tape by the police hierarchy clearly shows that the country security has been compromised.

On his part, the chief scribe of the NDC, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey said the party cannot archieve its goal of winning election 2024 without a collective effort.

He pointed out that not every party member could get the chance to be a committee member but there is the need for those who did not get the appointment to support the committee members through thick and thingh for a better NDC ahead of election 2024.

NDC GENERAL SECRETARY, MR. FIIFI FIAVI KWETEY.
