THE COMMUNICATION Unit of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) South Tongu Constituency has announced strategic measures to encourage and facilitate Ghana Card registration in the constituency.
To ensure maximum participation and compliance with the Ghana Card registration process, the Communication Unit has outlined several strategies that will be implemented to mobilize residents of the South Tongu Constituency to register for the Ghana Card.
1. Energising radio stations such as Sela Radio, Freedom FM, etc: The Unit will collaborate with Sela Radio to constantly announce and encourage people to go out and register for the Ghana Card. Regular updates and reminders will be aired to create awareness and emphasize the importance of obtaining the card.
2. Community Information Centres (CICs): Branches within the constituency that have access to CICs will be encouraged to use them for educational purposes. These CICs will serve as an effective communication tool to educate and inform the public about the Ghana Card registration process.
3. Media Engagement: The Communication Unit will collaborate with TV, radio, and social media communicators to dedicate a portion of their airtime to educate the public on the registration process. Through informative discussions and interviews, the importance of obtaining the Ghana Card will be conveyed to the populace.

4. Transportation Assistance: Individuals who have the means will be requested to assist in moving people to the registration centers. Providing transportation for those who may not have easy access to the registration centers will encourage and facilitate their participation in the registration process. Additionally, these individuals may also act as guarantors for those who require one.
5. Standby Guarantors: The Unit will mobilize standby guarantors to aid the registration process. These standby guarantors will be available to provide the necessary documentation for individuals who require it, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process.
6. Onsite Agents: To further enhance the registration process, the Communication Unit plans to have an agent stationed at the registration or card office. These agents will assist and guide individuals through the registration process, ensuring that they have all the necessary information and documents required.
The Communication Unit of the NDC South Tongu Constituency believes that the successful implementation of these strategies will result in increased registration among residents of the South Tongu Constituency. Obtaining the Ghana Card is crucial for individuals to access various services, benefits, and opportunities, and the Communication Unit is committed to ensuring that everyone is well-informed and supported throughout the registration process.
