The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia is scheduled to visit Anfoega in the North Dayi Constituency of the Volta Region tomorrow, Thursday, December 29, 2022.
As party of his visitation, Mr. Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito will be attending a graduation ceremony of about eighty (80) beneficiaries of Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh’s Skills Development and Empowerment Programme.
The programme is dubbed: “Empowering our Women for a Better North Dayi”
The beneficiaries were drawn from different parts of the constituency, and they were made to through a successful two years of intensive apprenticeship in hair dressing.
The party’s National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, nicknamed the Chairman General, is expected to also pay a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Anfoega Traditional Area, Togbi Tepre Hodo IV, who also doubles as the President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs.
The visit is significant because is going to be the first to the Volta Region, after his election at the just ended National Delegates Congress of the party in Accra on December 17, 2022.
Following the significance of this scheduled visitation by Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the Chairman General in Ghana’s Politics, the NDC’s Volta Regional Chief scribe, James Gunu issued a release to that effect.
