The Legislator for the people of La Dade-Kotopon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Rita Naa Odoley Sowah is organising a free Health Screening for her people in the constituency.
The health screening which is scheduled for Saturday, JUNE 4th, 2022, was in collaboration with the La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Health Directorate.
Doctors and Nurses and other paramedics are expected to settle down by 8am and by 9am the screening starts at Mantiase behind Akrowa House. Young and the aged are expected to come and have their health screened.
The tomorrow’s screening will consider health areas such as: Malaria Test; BP Check; COVID – 19 Vaccination; Sugar Test; HIV Test; Eye Test; Tuberculosis screening and Weight/Height/BMI.
According to the Hon. Member of Parliament for La Dade-Kotopon Constituency, Naa Odoley Sowah, “Our Health, Our Wealth” and anybody who wants wealth must come for check up to ensure he/she is fit to face the system.
She noted that the stress in the system in this few years is too much, and it affects the health of the people, hence the need to support, especially those who cannot afford to see the physician/doctor at the hospital.
It was noted that many people wish they have the means to visit the hospital for check ups but the hardships in the system in recent times does not permit them. Her prayer always is no one should fall sick, especially in this hard times.
