The Assembly members of Ayawaso East Municipality in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana have promised to confirm to maintain their renominated MCE, Hajia Selma Adams Sani-Kuta today.
Nationaltymes.com gathered that this time it would not be like she was coming for the first time when President Akufo-Addo had nominated her, where her confirmation was coupled with lots of difficulties.
According to sources close to Nationaltymes.com, Hajia Selma Sani-Kuta is a mother and a hard working woman in the municipality hence the need to confirm her to continue with her good works for the people of Ayawaso East Municipality.
Hajia Selma Sani-Kuta was the first MCE the President appointed to man the newly created Ayawaso East Municipality from the Accra Metropolitan Municipality Assembly.
She has helped completed the Ayawaso East Government Clinic started by the Member of Parliament, MP for the area, Hon. Mc Nasser Mahama Toure to enable the clinic serve more patients.
She has also rehabilitated the 37 military basic schools as well as Kanka cluster of schools near the Ghana Broadcadting Corporation amongst many other projects.
Hajia Selma Sani-Kuta directed for the distributions of veronica buckets with stands in all the schools in the Municipality and distribution of nose-mask and hand sanitisers in the markets within the Municipality towards the conversation of COVID-19 protocols.
Her re-election or re-confirmation starts on Thursday, October 07, 2021 at the Ayawaso East Municipal Assembly Kaokudi, Accra.
