A non-profit movement dubbed “Bring Mahama Back (BMB)” for victory 2024 has inaugurated Accra Chapter at the NDC Constituency office, Adenta in the Greater Accra Region.
The event drew a number of desperate NPP faithful who joined the NDC supporters to add their voice for the NDC to have former President John Dramani Mahama return to their rescue.
Moses Dometey Tettey, popularly known by many as Bola Ray Jnr, the Founder and National Coordinator who doubles as the chair for the event charged the gathering to be committed to the course of the NDC which is geared to the agenda to bringing BMB, and lots other activities.
Mr. Dometey Tettey indicated at the inauguration that “we can only achieve 2024 when we are united, faithful, committed and work hard towards the pending victory of the NDC”.
…..”even though the NDC is a democratic party and a party of tolerance but the internal flag bearer election of the party, I pray that no one shows up to contest his ExcellencyJohn Dramani Mahama, rather they should support him to deliver to Ghanaians from the current hardship under Nana Akufo-Addo, because for now, he’s the only one Ghanaians and NDC grassroot need”, he lamented.
BMB National Coordinator, cautioned those who would (turn a deaf ear to this call and go ahead) ignore their call not to contest John Mahama (JM) for him to go unopposed; adding that such persons should count themselves out after his term of office in 2028, when electing next candidate to represent the party.
“I am optimistic and convinced that His Excellency John Dramani Mahama will not get less than 98% of the valid votes”, Mr. Dometey Tettey predicted.
Addressing the BMB members at the event, Bola Ray Jnr told the gathering that, BMB has come to stay and it needs individual and collective efforts to survive. “If you love NDC, you will love John Dramani Mahama and if you love John Dramani Mahama you will automatically call for his come back”, the Young Political Activist posited.
The movement for bring Mahama back for Victory had a registered members close to one thousand and ninety members and they are targeting to get two million members before 2022 ends, and targeting three million first time voters, floating voters and disappointed NPP faithfuls to join the movement and vote for the NDC in the 2024 general election.
He added that the next NDC government will take the needs of every member of this movement into consideration. Our database is solid, records are kept as well. There will be more jobs for the youth, JM’s come back will be a great benefit to every citizen in this country, he intimated.
The BMB National Coordinators present used the opportunity to inaugurat the elected BMB regional facilitators for Greater Accra and they have accepted their various positions and roles.
The hardworking Political Activist, Moses Tettey Dometey aka Bola Ray Jnr was quick to add that the branches are the core for the survival of every political party, therefore, it behooves on everyone to go to their branches and work hard because the victory of the NDC is a “Do-or-Die” affair.
On his part, a Cadre, Winfred Tesia asserted that to empower members, the elected executives should be up and doing to make the dream a reality. The movement must be introduced to the regional and constituency executives in the region which he believes is the only way to survive, he suggested.
Comrade Tesia hinted that BMB existence in all the sixteen regions will be inaugurated at the appropriate time.
