THE newly elected constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ayawaso East have pledged their full support and cooperation to the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Mohammed Ahmed Baba Jamal, as they begin their new term in office.

The executives, led by their newly elected Chairman, Hon. Philip Sosi, made the pledge when they paid a courtesy call on the MP at his office.
The meeting was the first official engagement between the MP and the new constituency executives following their election in the just-ended constituency elections.
Speaking on behalf of the executives, Chairman Sosi assured Baba Jamal of their commitment to working closely with him to strengthen the party and consolidate its political gains in the constituency.

He said the new executive team was determined to promote unity, discipline and hard work while ensuring effective party organisation across constituency.
Hon. Sosi further assured the MP that the executives would work together as one team in the interest of the NDC and the development of Ayawaso East.
In his response, Baba Jamal expressed delight at the visit and further congratulated the newly elected executives on their victory.

He thanked them for their continued support since the constituency by-election and urged them to put aside individual differences and work together for the progress of the party.
The MP stressed that unity and cooperation were essential to achieving their common political and development goals.
“We can only succeed if we stay together. No division, no backbiting. Let us work as one team for Ayawaso East and for the NDC,” he said.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation between the constituency executives and the MP to ensure a united, disciplined and effective party structure.
The meeting is expected to mark the beginning of closer collaboration between the MP and the new executive team as the NDC works to consolidate its grassroots support and advance its interests in Ayawaso East.
