THE National Democratic Congress (NDC) must begin preparing for the 2028 general elections long before voting day, National Deputy Women’s Organizer, Dzifa Tegah, has declared, pledging to strengthen the party’s administrative systems if elected Deputy National General Secretary.

Madam Tegah said effective planning, strong party structures and efficient coordination would be critical to positioning the NDC for victory in 2028 and beyond.
Drawing on her experience as National Deputy Women’s Organizer and former Constituency Communication Officer, she said she understood the party’s operations and challenges at the branch, constituency, regional and national levels.
“Elections are not won on voting day alone but through meticulous planning and strong operational systems in the months and years before,” she stated.

She pledged to make the party’s national secretariat more accessible and responsive to members, while improving administrative coordination to ensure that party structures remain active and prepared for future electoral contests.
Madam Tegah also promised to promote the timely resolution of grievances, proper preservation of party records and greater opportunities for young women and men to participate in leadership.

She said these measures would help strengthen internal unity, improve the party’s organisational readiness and build the capacity needed to secure electoral victory in 2028.
Her campaign message places administrative efficiency, inclusiveness and early electoral preparation at the centre of her bid for the Deputy National General Secretary position.
