PHILIP Sosi has made history in the Ayawaso East Constituency of the Greater Accra Region after winning the National Democratic Congress (NDC) chairmanship election, becoming the first Christian to occupy the position in the constituency since the beginning of the Fourth Republic.
Mr. Sosi, a former Roman Branch ‘B’ Chairman and former Deputy Treasurer, secured 496 votes to defeat Issah Ali, who obtained 278 votes, and Wahab Amui Futa, who polled 228 votes.
