SUPPORTERS for former Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Hon. Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, to contest the position of National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is gathering momentum, with party supporters describing him as the best candidate to lead the party into its next chapter.
According to the group, Hon. Vanderpuye possesses the experience, courage and grassroots appeal needed to strengthen the party, unite its members and sustain the NDC’s electoral success.
The supporters said Hon. Vanderpuye’s long journey in the NDC, from serving as a Ward Secretary to becoming a Member of Parliament and currently the National Coordinator of the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), has given him a deep understanding of the party’s structures and the needs of its members.
They believe his years of service have equipped him with the leadership qualities required to build a stronger and more united party.
The group said Hon. Vanderpuye is seeking the National Chairman position because he wants to restore the party’s winning spirit through discipline, unity, inclusiveness and effective organisation.
