THE NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced that it will resume official media engagements on Oman FM and its affiliated platforms, with party representatives expected to begin appearances from Monday.
The decision, according to the party, follows requests from the management of Oman FM for the NDC to return to the station.
In a statement issued on Friday, August 7, 2026, the NDC’s Deputy Communications Officer, Godwin Ako Gunn, said the party’s Communications Department had resolved to restart media placements on Oman FM and its affiliate stations.

“Pursuant to requests from the Management of Oman FM, the Communication Department of the National Democratic Congress has decided to go back to Oman FM and its affiliates,” the statement said.
The announcement signals a renewed working relationship between the governing party’s Communications Department and the Accra-based radio station after a period during which official party representatives were absent from its programmes.
The statement was signed by Godwin Ako Gunn, Deputy Communications Officer of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
