THE MUNICIPAL Chief Executive (MCE) of Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor, has praised President John Dramani Mahama’s “resetting agenda,” saying it is bringing positive changes and development to the town.
In an interview with Nationaltymes.com Reporter, Samali Abdul Razak, Hon. Donkor highlighted the improvements Kpando has experienced since President Mahama took office. He said the town has seen major progress in infrastructure, education, health, security, and the judicial sector.
One of the key developments, he noted, is the construction of feeder roads, which have made transportation easier and boosted economic activities. More roads are currently under construction, showing the government’s commitment to addressing the town’s infrastructure needs.
Hon. Donkor also credited the Kpando Assembly, together with MP Hon. Sebastian Deh, for supporting these initiatives. He said improvements in education and health are giving residents better access to quality services, helping them meet modern challenges.
“The resetting agenda is not just about infrastructure,” he said. “It also focuses on social and economic policies to create jobs, reduce poverty, and promote inclusive growth, especially during global challenges like the pandemic.”

For Hon. Donkor, the agenda is a “ray of hope” for Kpando. He said it reflects the government’s commitment to positive change and has allowed the town to overcome past challenges while embracing new opportunities for growth.
In conclusion, the MCE lauded President Mahama’s efforts, saying the transformation in Kpando is a clear example of the positive impact of the resetting agenda. He added that the people of Kpando are proud to be part of Ghana’s journey toward progress and development.
