WORK has officially begun on the rehabilitation of the Ngua–Mallam to Kulpi road following a pledge by the Member of Parliament for Salaga South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah.
The MP made the commitment during her inspection of the Kitoe Nkwanta–Kitoe road on Friday, 21st November 2025. True to her word, machinery has now moved to the Ngua–Kulpi stretch, and work is progressing steadily toward Kulpi.
The Director of Special Projects and his team have assured the public of their determination to complete the project on schedule, emphasizing that the rehabilitation is being taken seriously.
The ongoing works are fully funded by the MP. Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah has also promised to extend similar support to other damaged roads within the constituency.
She noted that improving these roads will greatly benefit road users—especially market women and farmers who depend on them daily for transportation of goods and produce.
