THE GHANA High Commission in the United Kingdom has announced that registration and issuance of the Ghana Card will officially begin in London on Monday, 17th November 2025. This follows a successful pilot phase carried out earlier.

In a statement signed by the High Commissioner, Mrs. Sabah Zita Benson, the mission encouraged all eligible Ghanaians living in the UK to take advantage of the exercise. The registration is strictly for first-time applicants and will be done only by prior online appointment.
According to the High Commission, applicants must first complete an online form before visiting the biometric centre. The registration will take place at the High Commission’s office located at 104 Highgate Hill, London, N6 5HE.
Prospective applicants are required to begin the process by visiting the official registration portal at register.nia.gov.gh. After completing the online form, a QR code will be emailed to them. This code must be presented at the biometric capturing centre on the scheduled appointment day.
The High Commission assured the public of its commitment to providing efficient and smooth services as part of this important national exercise.
