MEMBER of Parliament for Salaga-South has donated a 5,000-litre poly tank to the people of Bau to help ease their water challenges.
The donation was made after the completion of a platform to support the tank. Representing the MP at the short ceremony, Director of Special Projects, Mr. Mustapha Nafiu, officially handed over the tank to the community. He said the tank is large enough to store water for the entire community and encouraged residents to take good care of it for long-term use.
Receiving the tank on behalf of the people, Mr. Adam Ibrahim, the NDC Branch Chairman for Bau, thanked the MP for quickly responding to the community’s need. He described the MP as a caring and committed leader who always puts her people first.
Mr. Ibrahim said the donation proves the MP’s dedication to improving the lives of her constituents. He assured her of the community’s full support and continued prayers for her success.
