MEMBER of Parliament for Okaikwei North in the Greater Accra Region, Hon. Theresa Lardi Awuni, has extended a generous hand to over 200 first year Senior High School (SHS) students in her constituency by providing them with cash support as they prepare to return to school.
This gesture is part of her broader commitment to improving education and supporting the youth. By easing the financial burden on families, Hon. Awuni is investing in the future leaders of Ghana and showing her dedication to quality education and youth empowerment.

Over the years, she has introduced several impactful initiatives, including:
– Education Support: Paying tuition fees for over 60 students in both secondary and tertiary institutions.
– Youth Empowerment: Organizing skills training programmes in cake-making, yoghurt production, soap-making, and more.
– Community Development: Registering over 9,000 constituents for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and donating hospital beds to local clinics.

Hon. Awuni’s consistent support has earned her the trust and admiration of the people of Okaikwei North and the accolade, “Obaa Naaaa”. She remains committed to serving her constituency with a focus on sustainable development and empowerment.
