The NDC Parliamentary Candidate, PC for La Dade-Kotopon Constituency, Madam Rita Naa Odoley Sowah has supported La Dade-Kotopon Football Team in the on-going “Football Gala for Peace” organised for the Ga-Adangme in the Greater Accra Region ahead of elections 2020.
The Football Gala was organised to beef up the little peace which was eroding amongst the Ga-Adangmes in the region since the ruling NPP led Nana Addo took over the reigns of this country.
Madam Naa Odoley, a sports funatic presented a number of packs of bottle water and undisclosed amount of money to support the La team to enable them win the on-going football Gala at the Mac Dan La Town Park, in Accra.
She also promised the team a package if they are able to come home with the trophy since they are hosting. The country’s former award winning MCE for La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly (LaDMA) also promised to help organise competition for those interested in some lesser notes sport like the Volley ball, Ping-pong (Table Tennis) and Basketball if time permits to whipp up the interest in those sports.
All these activities are to foster peaceful Co-existance, oneness amongst the people of La Dade-Kotopon going into this year’s general elections.
This is against the manner in which President Akuffo-Addo is dividing country and creating fear and panic with the use of hoodlums with national security cover to carry-out inhumane activities on electorates and voter ID registrants prior to 2020 elections.
La Dade-Kotopon Football Team is expected to meet Ledzorkuku (Teshie) in their next game on Monday evening at the Mac Dan La Town Park after they had white-washed their Sege counter 3 – 1 in their first match.
