ABLEKUMA North came alive as Hajia Lami Ibrahim, the fiery Greater Accra Zongo Caucus Magajiya and Regional NADMO Coordinator, electrified a mini rally with a passionate appeal to Zango communities to rally behind the NDC in the upcoming rerun election.

Addressing a charged crowd of women, youth, and party faithful, Hajia Lami declared the NDC’s Reset Agenda as a beacon of hope for Zango residents—promising social interventions, youth empowerment, and educational support. Her message sparked roaring cheers, signaling growing momentum for the opposition party.

Ewurabena Aubynn, the NDC parliamentary candidate, assured the crowd of bold, accountable leadership and pledged to be the voice of the voiceless in Parliament. “Ablekuma North deserves development, respect, and responsive leadership. I stand ready to deliver that and more,” she vowed.

Party heavyweights, including Regional Minister Hon. Linda Akweley Ocloo and Regional Organizer Anthony Nukpeku, also attended, underlining the high stakes of the by-election. With promises of improved roads, sanitation, and job opportunities, the NDC is pulling out all the stops.

As the EC promises a credible rerun of 19 polling stations, national attention is turning to Ablekuma North, where the outcome could shake Ghana’s political landscape.
