PRESIDENT John Dramani Mahama has launched the modern Asharami LPG Vessel in South Korea, marking a major step toward strengthening Ghana’s energy security and improving the supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) across Ghana and the wider West African region.
The colourful commissioning ceremony brought together government officials, energy sector leaders and international partners who gathered to witness what many describe as a transformative development for the region’s energy industry.

The Asharami LPG Vessel is a state-of-the-art ship designed to transport and distribute LPG safely and efficiently. With its advanced technology and dual-fuel, fully refrigerated system, the vessel will help ensure a more reliable flow of LPG to countries that depend on imports for their energy needs.
