THE 2026 edition of the Kwahu Business Forum is set to attract high-profile participation, with President John Dramani Mahama expected to attend the event.
The two-day forum will be held from April 3 to 4, 2026, at the newly built Kwahu Convention Centre. It will also be attended by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, and the Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Johnson Pandit Asiama.
Mr. Benjamin Essuman, Special Aide to the Chief of Staff and a member of the planning team, confirmed the participation of the top government officials. He said their presence highlights the importance of the forum and shows the government’s strong support for the initiative.
“The expected attendance of these senior officials shows how important the forum is and the level of commitment behind it,” Mr. Essuman stated.
More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend the forum. They will come from sectors such as automobile, banking, insurance, healthcare, and other goods and services industries.
The event will also feature trade fairs, giving businesses the opportunity to display their products and services to potential clients and investors.
Mr. Essuman said this year’s forum will focus strongly on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

According to him, the main aim is to create a platform where smaller businesses can connect with larger, well-established companies, build partnerships, and strengthen their operations. Registration for the forum is currently open, and participants are encouraged to register early to ensure smooth planning and coordination.
Organisers say preparations are far advanced and express confidence that the 2026 Kwahu Business Forum will be a major success. The event is expected to provide an important platform for business leaders and stakeholders to share ideas and contribute to the growth of Ghana’s economy.
