GES Declares November 7 as National CPD Day for Teachers

THE GHANA Education Service (GES) has announced that Friday, 7th November 2025, will be observed as a National Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Day for all teachers.

The announcement comes ahead of a nationwide training organized by the National Teaching Council (NTC) in collaboration with KANTON, focusing on Cybersecurity and Data Protection for educators.

The GES said the declaration ensures that all teachers can participate in the training without conflicting work duties.

This initiative is part of efforts to upgrade teachers’ skills and knowledge, particularly in handling digital information safely and effectively.
