THE GRACE Ayensu-Danquah Foundation’s Human Capital Development Programme is a pioneering initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment and skills gaps in the Essikado Ketan Constituency.

Led by Hon. Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, the programme offers free, high-quality apprenticeship training to equip young people with industry-relevant skills in various fields, including:
– Pastries: Cake making, meat pie baking, biscuit and doughnut production, and chip making.
– Beading: Crafting keyholders and necklaces.
– Local Drinks: Sobolo production.
– Detergent Making: Washing powder, liquid soap, and softener production.

This initiative aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s vision to address youth unemployment and skills gaps in Ghana through the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP).
The programme’s objectives include Significantly increasing beneficiaries’ income level, Providing beneficiaries with sustainable employment opportunities, Equipping young people with technical, vocational, and entrepreneurial skills to enhance their livelihoods.
