VICE-PRESIDENT and Acting President of the Republic, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, paid a visit to the 2025 Ghana Garden and Flower Show this week at the Efua Sutherland Park, commending the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit behind the event.
The annual exhibition, organised by Stratcomm Africa since 2013, brings together local farmers, gardeners, florists, and small businesses to showcase a rich variety of plants, flowers, and eco-friendly products made in Ghana.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang described the exhibition as a beautiful celebration of sustainability, innovation, and Ghanaian creativity, stressing its importance in promoting green living and business opportunities within the agricultural and creative sectors.
She encouraged young entrepreneurs and startups to take inspiration from the Ghana Garden and Flower Movement and explore business ideas that showcase Ghana’s ingenuity, culture, and environmental values.

“This show is more than just flowers and gardens, it is about building sustainable businesses, empowering our communities, and celebrating what we can do with our own hands,” she said.
The 2025 edition of the show continues to grow in popularity, highlighting the potential of urban gardening, eco-tourism, and green enterprise as tools for economic development and climate resilience.
