THE PARLIAMENTARY Committee on Human Rights, chaired by Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has engaged the Canadian High Commission in a strategic meeting aimed at deepening cooperation on human rights and democratic governance.

The Canadian delegation was led by H.E. Myriam Montrat, High Commissioner of Canada to Ghana.

The meeting provided a platform to discuss shared priorities such as protecting vulnerable groups, promoting human rights, and strengthening democratic institutions in Ghana.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to closer collaboration in addressing key human rights concerns and supporting efforts that safeguard democratic values.
