THE DISTRICT Chief Executive for Tolon, Hon. Braimah Seidu, on Monday, July 7, 2025, officially commissioned a new mechanized borehole in Tali-Botingli to improve access to clean water for residents.
The project, a collaboration between the Tolon District Assembly and PAMEPI Women in Tech Ghana (a subsidiary of the Paabinaa Meriga Peace Initiative), is expected to serve hundreds of residents and help solve the area’s long-standing water problems.

Hon. Seidu said the initiative reflects growing efforts between local government and civil society organizations to deliver much-needed infrastructure to rural communities.
Community members expressed gratitude for the support, saying the new borehole will reduce the burden of searching for clean water, especially for women and children.
