THE MEMBER of Parliament for South Tongu, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, and the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo, have delivered on their promise to support flood victims in the Adutor Electoral Area. Over the weekend, they provided two canoes to help residents in some of the hardest-hit communities.

The canoes were handed over to the Assembly Member, Hon. Promise Kwaku Agbanyo, and are already helping people in Agordome, Sonukpo, and Tsawoeme. These boats will make it easier for residents—especially schoolchildren and farmers—to reach schools, markets, and farms.

This move is part of ongoing efforts to support flood-affected families. The district also plans to build six new culverts, fill damaged roads with gravel, and dredge drains to prevent future flooding.
The MP and MCE, working with NADMO Ghana, say they are committed to finding lasting solutions to the flood challenges.

The support has brought hope and relief to many residents who have struggled since the disaster hit.
