
THE DISTRICT Chief Executive for South Tongu, Hon. Victoria Dzeklo; Member of Parliament, Hon. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor; and District Director of Education, Celestine S. A. Korsi-Agordo, have joined forces to visit various Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centers in the district to boost the morale of candidates.
The joint tour, which covered multiple exam centers, formed part of efforts to demonstrate leadership solidarity and offer direct motivation to the over 2,000 candidates sitting for this year’s BECE.
At each stop, the three leaders encouraged students to remain focused and determined, assuring them of the district’s full support.
During the visit, Hon. Lukutor, MP announced a special sponsorship package for 2025 BECE candidates who attain a single-digit aggregate, a move aimed at rewarding academic excellence and motivating future candidates.

Teachers and invigilators lauded the visit, noting that such high-level engagements inspire students to give their best. The joint presence of the MP, DCE, and Education Director was described as a powerful display of unity and commitment to education in South Tongu.
