IN A GROUNDBREAKING move to support higher education, the Member of Parliament (MP) for South Tongu, Maxwell Kwame Lukutor, has opened a scholarship opportunity portal for students from his constituency pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies at accredited universities in Ghana.
Announcing the initiative on his social media platforms late Monday, February 17, 2025, the MP emphasized his commitment to empowering the youth through education.
The scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to outstanding students, helping to ease the burden of tuition and related costs.
“My leadership is determined to improve the lives of young people by sponsoring them to access education at all costs,” Lukutor stated.
This marks the first-ever academic scholarship portal for the South Tongu Constituency, a move expected to benefit many deserving students.
Eligibility & Application Process
To qualify, applicants must be residents of South Tongu and provide the following documents during the application process:
– Ghana Card (National ID)
– University Admission Letter
– Senior High School Academic Certificate
