THE CHIEFS OF AWUTU Topease in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region have made a choice of ministry for their daughter pleading for President to appoint.
The chiefs have passionately called on President John Dramani Mahama to appoint Madam Gizella Agbotui Tetteh, their Hon. Member of Parliament, as a minister for Works and Housing in his administration.
Speaking at a press conference, the Mankrado of Awutu Topease, Nana Kofi Bosompim, emphasized Hon. Agbotui Tetteh’s impressive qualifications as an architectural engineer and her wealth of experience, which he said makes her a perfect fit for the Works and Housing Ministry.

“We firmly believe that her passion for the ministry and her unwavering dedication to the welfare of Ghanaians set her apart as an ideal candidate for this critical role,” Nana Bosompim stated.
“We trust that the President will consider our humble appeal for Hon. Gizella Agbotui Tetteh, whose capabilities and commitment to national development cannot be overemphasized,” Nana Kofi Bosompim said.

The chiefs expressed confidence that Hon. Agbotui Tetteh’s inclusion in government will bring significant benefits not only to the Awutu Senya West District but also to the entire nation.
The Mankrado also lauded President Mahama’s decision to reduce the number of ministries from 30 to 23, describing the move as unprecedented and commendable.
In addition, he urged the President to intensify efforts to retrieve stolen monies and properties from former appointees of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, highlighting the importance of accountability in governance.
