THE LAST TIME I saw Nana Addo campaigning for Dr. Bawumiah was when he called on former President John Dramani Mahama to debate Dr. Mahamoudu Bawumia. Was it not this same Nana Akufo-Addo, who in 2016, was called to debate President John Mahama (JM) but run away?
Later, didn’t he go to Peace FM and had his own debate with Kwame Sefa Kayi, host of kokrokoo morning show; why isn’t Nana Addo advising Bawumia to go to Peace FM?
Do we remember Nana Akufo-Addo was sold to us in 2016 as the political messiah who was coming to rescue Ghana from the economic hardships? Didn’t Nana Addo tell us he brought Alhaji Dr. Bawumia to help stabilize the cedi, because to him, the cedi had become “hatahatahata”, meaning the cedi was very light in value. At that time, the dollar was GHC3.80. Nana Addo told us the dollar was GHC3.80 due to bad governance? Today, the dollar is GHC 18.00 but some people believe that is better.
The above meant that Dr. Bawumia was brought in to do a specific job for Nana Addo and Ghana. Now, look at how messy the economy is, and Dr. Bawumia is telling us that he will come up with bold decisions to solve the problems. What a beautiful nonsense.
Alhaji Dr. Bawumia, as head of the Economic Management Team introduced the E-Levy and other nuisance taxes. Today, he is telling Ghanaians that when he becomes president, he will cancel E-Levy, COVID taxes and all the nuisance taxes. He is craftily and thievery coming to Ghanaians the same way Nana Addo came.
The free SHS campaign failed Nana Addo in 2020, so he has abandoned it. Because they have set Dr. Bawumia to fail, they have placed it at the center of his campaign. Dr. Bawumia is now telling us he will do some bold adjustments to the Free SHS. Is that also not cancellation?
When Dr. Bawumia was asked in an interview why he hasn’t implemented the things he is talking about, he looked straight in the camera and said if he does everything now, as Vice-President, he wouldn’t have anything to do. This means the hardships on Ghanaians is Bawumia-made so he can have something to do if he becomes president.
Nana Addo was better than Dr. Bawumiah in 2016. Dr. Bawumiah is better than Nana Addo in 2024. This should tell you that they are both criminals, corrupt and scammers. Dr. Bawumiah doesn’t deserve your vote. He is a trickster.
