THE ABOLA PIAM Tunmaa We, one of the royal families in the Ga State has installed a new family head to stair the affairs of the Abola royal family.

The newly installed family head on April 27, 2024, Abraham Nii Okine Nunoo a.a.k. Ayitey Agbee Nmei III, also doubles as Head of the Legal Committee for the Abola Piam Royal Council (APRC), James Town , Accra.
The council consists of an Executive Board, Legal Committee, Lands Committee, Financial Committee, Operations, Traditional Affairs Committee and Women Affairs Committee amongst others.

Nii Ayitey Agbee Nmei III, in an interview with Nationaltymes.com in Accra, said one of his objectives was to bring peace amongst all the descendants of Abola Piam Tunmaa We Family.
According to him, they have eight (8) divisions under Abola Piam Tunmaa We. Adding that, “so I’ll start by Organising meetings with the various aggrieved family members across the eight divisions”. Nii Okine Nunoo emphasized that ‘honesty and understanding’ must be the hallmark in my dealings as the new family and legal head.

The newly installed Abola Piam Tunmaa We family head who doubles as the new head of Legal Committee of the Abola Piam Tunmaa Royal Council, he iterated that there would be a mechanism in place to champion the cause of the royal family, to collaborate with all concern persons and those in recognition positions.
There were little changes in the various head and members on the Council; Legal Committee is now chaired by Abraham Nii Okine Nunoo, new Abola Piam family head; and supported by Emmanuel Nii Aryikwei Aryeetey, Ebenezer Akwe Nunoo and Edward Ayaa Aryee.
On Operations committee: Joseph Ahena Darku Nuoo (ie. Nii Oblie Okai Awua, Abola Djaasetse).

Lands Committee has the following persons; Papa-Fio Nunoo and Alabi (his full name needed).
Women’s Affairs Committee; Aunty Oye, Akorkoi, sister Akuokor, Aunty Ayikaa, Manye Ayeley and Atofoye Norley. As a few changes made on the Abola Piam Tunmaa Royal Council.
