THE INSENSITIVE President Akufo-Addo has brought back power rashening (dumsor) after bragging to ensure the electricity situation in the country is stabilised.

THE SUB-STANDARD PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO

Dumsor is returned as GRIDCO/ECG sheds 500MW of power arising from the inability of Ghana to pay for Gas consumed from the West Africa Gas Pipeline leading to another shutdown of the pipeline by WAPCO.

It is sad to note that the Cash Waterfall Mechanism (CWM) which was instituted to prevent the growth of the sector-wide indebtedness and ensure equitable distribution of revenues has been hijacked by the Ministry of Finance leading to serious challenges in the Energy sector.

The sad news is that Ghanains will continue to sleep in darkness unless government intervenes once more.

JOHN JINAPOR, FORMER DEPUTY MINISTER OF ENERGY & POWER.

The Nana Akufo-Addo led then opposition NPP chastised the ruling NDC led by former President John John Dramani Mahama, lying that he (JDM/JM) created the decades old problem he came to meet.

Fortunately, JDM took responsibility to resolve the problem with a number of power batches such as Calpower, Ameri-power amongst others, before exiting office in  20216 when he lost the election.

COMPETENT FORMER PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA.
