FORMER NDC DEPUTY Youth Organiser, Hajia Habiba Muah Osman  is appealing to the Greater Accra Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) Council of Elders to help ensure there is peace amongst the party executives in the region.

GREATER ACCRA NDC REGIONAL CHAIRMAN, EMMANUEL NII ASHIE MOORE.

Hajia Muah Osman also lamented on the attitude of a number of known NDC gurus who have adopted a strategy to show up at NDC events for recognition only when Former President John Dramani Mahama would attend that programme.

Speaking in an interview with Nationaltymes.com in Accra, the worried Hajia Habiba Muah Osman indicated that the cracks in the current Greater Accra Regional NDC is so glaring and could have serious effect on the party going into the 2024 general elections if nothing is done about the situation immediately.

She alleged that the problem amongst the NDC regional executives could further deepen the cracks in the region if care is not taken. She disclosed that there is too much antagonism amongst some executives and is having effect on the regional women’s wing.

When women are having resentments it becomes very serious and has the tendency to mess up plans and strategies when going forward, she lamented.

To this, Hajia Muah Osman is calling on the Greater Accra Regional NDC Council of Elders led by Uncle Danny to move in quickly to help resolve all these impasse amongst the current Greater Accra Regional NDC Executives before it is too late.

She also pleaded with all the female MPs in the Gt. region led by Hon. Doyo Kudjo Ghanza, Ada MP to make a giant step to ensure the problems between the region’s Women’s Organizer, Madam Felicia Mekpoi and her deputies are resolved ones and for all for the sake of the NDC.

FORMER GREATER ACCRA NDC DEPUTY REGIONAL YOUTH ORGANISER, HAJIA HABIBA MUAH OSUMAN.

She said “under normal circumstances, in spite of all the impasse the Executives in the region should be able to work together as a unit in the supreme interest of the party ahead of the crucial elections 2024.

The Former  NDC Gt. Accra Deputy Regional Youth Organiser said the party in Accra wants 5 or more parliamentary seats which include Amassaman, Okaikwei Central, Ayawaso Central, Ayawaso West Wuogon,  and probably Dome-Kwabenya. And the party could succeed if the problem is resolved amongst this regional Executives.

She posited that despite the chances of the NDC to return to power next year, the party is going to face 3 key institutions during the elections 2024, i.e. the ruling NPP, current crop of officers at the Electoral Commission led by Jean Adukwei Mensah  and the Police/Army who are going be used; “so if the regional front of the NDC is that porous then that is going to be a walk-over for the failed NPP.

THE NATION’S BUILDER JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA.

Hajia Habiba Muah Osman, former Gt. Accra Regional NDC Deputy Youth Organiser reiterated that it behooves on the regional NDC Council of Elders to move in quickly to help curb the going bad situation immediately.

Because the grassroots of the NDC and Ghanaians  who want John Dramani Mahama back will not forgive the party,  she stressed.
