GREATER Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Kobina Ade-Coker, has tasked the newly elected constituencies executives to work hard to return the party to power come 2024.
Mr. Kobina Ade-Coker made this encouraging remarks when he was officially swearing in a number of Constituency executives who were elected in the just ended internal primaries, to steer the administrative affairs at their respective constituency levels for the party in the region for the next four years.
Administering the oath to swear the elected constituency officers into their office, Mr Ade-Coker, who doubles as the Chairman of the NDC Regional Chairmen’s Caucus urged all the officers to bring new ideas on board to help bring back the NDC to power in the 2024 general elections.
He emphasized the need for the constituency officers to offer the necessary leadership that would reorganize the NDC into an attractive and formidable party that would provide opportunity for all.
He mentioned that the officers have a great tasks and duties to perform to help remove the current New Patriotic Party-led President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government which has messed up the country’s economic prospects.
Mr Coker congratulated all the officers for the confidence reposed in them by the delegates and members of the NDC to elect them into the office and charged them to work hard to protect, preserve, uphold and defense the constitution of the NDC by the law established.
He told the officers to institute human centered measures to bring floating voters on board to vote massively for the NDC to win the political power in the 2024 general elections to lead the country economic recovery.
