AYAWASO CENTRAL CHAIRMANSHIP  RACE: WHO WINS TO RECOVER THE PARLIAMENTARY SEAT FOR NDC

All road is set for the National Democratic Congress, NDC to start Constituency primaries slated for October 22/23, 2022 across the country.

Two (2) of the Ayawaso Central Constituency immediate past NDC executives and two (2) other party loyalists filed to contest for a vacant chairmanship position in the Ayawaso Central, an orphan Constituency in Accra.

It was alleged that both the previous and current outgone executives kept helping to make Ayawaso Central an orphan Constituency since 1996 by taking money to let go the seat.

That notwithstanding, the desperate NDC delegates who no longer want the area to remain orphan constituency promised the two (2) outgone executives aspirants, of their votes; and challenged them to recover the parliamentary seat for the NDC in 2024 if any of them happens to win as the next constituency Chairmanship.

Those contesting for this vacant position in the Constituency include Harry Otu Hesse, the outgone Organiser; Michael O. Semenhyia, outgone Secretary; Bernard Gibson Agbanyo and Forster Kodjo Ahianyo.

Mr. Otu Hesse and Semenhyia promised to prove their critics wrong during their filing of nominations, if the Ayawaso Central NDC delegates make any of them the next Chairman to lead the Constituency.

This time around in Ayawaso Central lots of the youth contesting various position in their bid to help rescue the parliamentary seat for the area and to maximize the votes of the NDC come 2024.

A strong lady, Theresa Mamle Gbekie offered herself to contest three men for the Secretary position in the area. The men who are fighting this young Mamle Gbekie, include, David Saba Adzifome, Bernard K. Gidiglo and Philip Kwesi Appiah.

Mohammed Awal Goza has also stepped down from his position as the Youth Organiser and aspiring for the Organiser position. Others who are also contesting Organiser position are Anthony Nukporkpe and Ishmael Larry Tahiru.

Other staunch NDC members of the Constituency prepared well for Women Organiser positions whilst others also opted to contest one position or the other including Zango Caucus Coordinatorship.
