It is clear that the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress, NDC will win the country’s next general election.
This is not just a mere say, but it is written following all the glaring indications.
If you are sensitive enough to study the direction of the wind and the air, you will know. You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you this.
But, no government can survive without having majority of parliamentarians in parliament, it will be a tough time for such government as we are seeing today in the eighth parliament of Ghana.
My curiousity in knowing more as a Youth Activist has carried me to the enclaves of the Eastern region part of Ghana and it seems the NDC is gaining more grounds in the region due to the numerous achievements of the National Democratic Congress, NDC in the region compared to the ruling NPP.
Some members of the region have raised some legitimate concerns which are very insightful.
They have indicated that the sitting President hails from the region, most of his Ministers and appointees hails from the region, it is the same region that has given the NPP and Nana Addo the second highest number of MPs in parliament after Ashanti Region but if you turn around yourself, you can’t see anything. There is nothing we can boast of, they have failed us.
It is clear that the NDC will win additional five seats in the region to increase the seats from eight to thirteen in the region come 2024 general elections.
But the NDC must send more resources to those constituencies.
The indications are clear, the parties historical performances are also clear. NDC must work hard in these constituencies like never before, before election 2024. They will win them
