Let me also add my voice to those who think this digital or Bawumia tax must be rejected or reviewed. I honestly share with them.
Many people depend on families abroad for their drugs, rent ,school fees, pocket (chop) money etc. With the introduction of this diaspora tax, every remittance will be taxed making it difficult for both the recipient and sender.

Same with people who have survived because of cash out or momo. Do we want to encourage digital transactions or carry cash around? One step forward, two steps backwards.
I am even afraid that the momo I am expecting will not come beyond GHC100 for fear of being taxed beyond that. Even when you are asked to come home for it, even the taxes on fuel will discourage you and not the COME HOME !!!
When car owners are complaining of paying huge road tow already, all those who do not have cars have now been added to that bracket. You will now pay tow for walking. This matter go chop hot paaaaa !!!
In times of hardships, we should not over burden the citizens with all these extra cost. This government should be a little sensitive to us.

No wonder the government was silent on the people of Keta in their helpless situation. The president hasn’t spoken or twitted, and an opportunity like this should have seen how thoughtful they are towards us, unfortunately, not even a line of budgetary allocation was dedicated to the sea defence. Keta is also part of Ghana. Nana Addo, KROM AY3SHI !!!
Us we weep and complain about this hardships, and why the government should cut down on frivolous expenditures, the president has chartered his favourite plane with shower in it to France for a vacation with ……. (you know, stop reading my mind).

After all the noise they made on condoms being taxed during the last NDC administration, they have introduced it again, in the name of pharmaceutical supplies!!! Everything that goes round indeed comes around !!!
I will keep praying for better days ahead, but as for this budget , it must be reviewed. We can’t die now.
