Few minutes later, clothing materials were presented on behalf of the MP by a Unit Committee member, Eddie Adams and was supported by a Ward Coordinator, Steve Biko.

The wooden structure which was a self-contained housing a family of 3 – a man, wife and a baby, was raised down by the fire beyond recognition. But for Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) other structures which were partly affected, could also have been consumed by the fire.

According to eye-witnesses, there were no casualties and the source of the fire was not known; but some people were suspecting some burnt cylinders as the source of fire.

They said the fire started between 8 and 9am before GNFS came to the scene and they were swift to bring the fire under control immediately.

La Dade-Kotopon Municipal NADMO officials were there to ascertain the cause and extent of damage the fire caused.
