Rehashed For Is Relevance In Time and Effect!
I just woke up this morning to a surprising news that Wednesday was a holiday even though it supposed to be the 3rd of August. I asked for what, I was told it is the Founders’ Day and not Founder’s Day as we used to know.

This led me to my next level of curiousity to know who and who constitute the Founders of Ghana besides Dr. Kwame Nkrumah? NPP government is so ethnocentric and silly that it does not realise the self inflicting decisions it takes in government.
In fact, Akufo Addo has gained notoriety in having a parasitic pathology. He bears no shame in lying, so he can plagiarize everything and parasite on everything and will not even blink an eye.

It is shameful for the people of Ghana to sit unconcerned while this traitor turn the face of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah down to stain the reputation of the “Africa’s icon of true freedom and justice”.
What is the significance of last Wednesday, 4th August’s holiday? That J.B. Danquah, Akufo-Addo’s uncle was part of the Founding members of Ghana? That traitor? Someone who led the boycotting of the meeting in Kumasi to sign the Independence Agreement with the representative of the Queen of England in 1956. Indeed, that useless and selfish individual who looked at everything in Ghana belonging to Kyebi does not deserve a pin in this country, let alone associate him with a holiday. It is insulting to the people of Ghana!
It is true J.B. Danquah was around during the struggling days for our Independence, but what role did he play as a leading politician at the time? Was he not the one who led every anti independence movement in the 1940s?

Was J. B. Danquah not the one who, during the Jackson Commission categorically denounced the authority of the Kwame Nkrumah government, saying that the people of Akyem are not subjects to the laws of Ghana? This useless ethnocentric beast being celebrated with a whole holiday?
Was J. B. Danquah not the one who, on the 20th November 1956 led the NLM to send a resolution to the Secretary for Colonies in London, demanding a separate independence for Asante and Akyems? This useless Secessionists being celebrated with a whole holiday in Ghana? How hypocritical can we be as a country!

Now, does it mean if someone’s name lingers in our history books, he or she deserves to be eulogised with a state property?
I recently read in some portals that the Wa Campus of the University for Development Studies(UDS), a school that Rawlings built with his “Hunger Award” money has been named after Mr. S. D. Dombo, one of the traitors and saboteurs of our country’s development. Are we so petty that even those responsible for retarding our development are celebrated simply because their names linger in our history books?

Does it stand to reason that Founders of Christianity must include Judas Iscariot? Must we deify Ataa Ayi simply because he has his name lingering in our history books? What sort of hypocritical society are we building for our generations?
Now, NDC must bear in mind that after December 2024, we shall demand of them the scraping off and reverting to the original names of the following facilities, events and phenomena;
- The Wa Campus of the UDS and not S. D. Dombo foolishness…
The Republic Day Holiday and not the Founders’ Day sickness…
Founder’s Day as in Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s Day must be observed…
The Tamale Sports Stadium and not Aliu Mahama Stadium nonsense…
The dignity of the police officer beaten in the forecourts of the “Jubilee House”
The dignity of Ghana and the Ghanaian people must be restored. Many more of these “state institutions”, arbitrarily named after some useless unpatriotic dead cockroaches will be mentioned for the restoration of their true identity as state facilities and not personal properties of some useless dead traitors. Nonsense!
