The Judicial Committee of the Volta Regional House of Chief (JCVRHC) – Ho has tamed Freeman Leweh Sogah aka Torgbe Atsuga Sogah II and charged that he stops parading himself as the Dufia of Sogakope with immediate effect.
The Judicial Committee, Volta Region further directed one Francis Laweh Sogah aka Abisibie who has also been impersonating as the Soga stool father in the Soga township to desist from that since he has no locus.
This sent fears down the spines of the self-styled Dufia of Sogakope known as Togbe Akpah and his unhappy impersonator stool father, Abisibie when the bill-leaf handed to them the Judicial orders.
Togbe Agamah Amanta, Paramount Chief of the Fievie Traditional Area and his stool father, Zikpuitor Awuku Doe Atakli, were served. One of their surrogate chefs, Togbe Sakpiti, Galleykope amongst others who allegedly masterminded this on-going troubles in the Sogakope chieftaincy matter were also served.
The Sogakope Police who suddenly became their allies through the District Commander which afforded them the penchant to parade themselves as Togbe Soga and stool father, were copied to take caution.
The Volta Regional House of Chief Judicial Committee restrained them and all other institutions from recognising Freeman Laweh Sogah (Togbe Akpah) and his brother, Francis Abisibie as chief and stool father in all kinds of event wherever.
This made the discerning people of Sogakope and its environs who by chance got the hint of the Judicial order very elated and thank God this marks the beginning of peace to return to Sogakope.
The JCVRHC order was necessary since it will stop the elders of Fievie Traditional Area and some chiefs of other communities from helping to format trouble in Sogakope.
Freeman Laweh Sogah, Francis Laweh Sogah Abisibie and their surrogates filed an order to repress the real Soga family and the Mamaah Mornyui Wui of Soga from installing right Dufia of Sogakope, so they could go about carrying themselves as chiefs and stool fathers whilst the substance of the case is yet to be heard.
Information Nationaltymes.com picked indicated that whilst matter is before the National House of Chief, some of these unscrupulous elders of Fievie Traditional Area were holding meetings late in the night pleading with some elders to help Togbe Akpah, Mr. Laweh Sogah to get gazetted and Abisibie his stool father.
