La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Assembly held a colourful swearing-in ceremony in accordance with the L. I. of the Assembly for Hon. Member of Parliament, MP, Madam Rita Naa Odoley Sowah.
The event was organised by the Municipal Assembly led by the MCE, Rev. Solomon Kotey Nikoi of the governing NPP on Match 18, 2021. It was graced by the Hon. Presiding Member and the Hon Assembly Members, Heads of Departments and the Judge who executed the swesring-in and other officials of the Assembly.
The La Dade-Kotopon NDC Constituency Chairman Alhaji Obodai, with some party members who supported to make the ceremony blissful.
Naa Odoley Sowah was the first La Dade-Kotopon Municipal Chief Executive (LaDMA MCE) and led the construction and completion of the Assembly’s office complex whilst other projects are yet to be completed at the Assembly.
The former hard working and award winning MCE of LaDMA, Hon. Rita Odoley Sowah brought to the people of La the market complex and many other development projects including some township roads and drains she begun with in some areas in the municipality.
Other projects like the drains cum roads earmarked to be tackled in some other areas in the municipality have their funding made available before she left office with the NDC government in 2017.
The Hon. MP received massive support from the constituents during the Just ended December 2020 general elections.
