Hon. Baba Jamal Esq. has for the first time reacted to threats on his life and property issued by Okumpreku Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central Constituency.
The Deputy Director of Legal Affairs for the NDC stated that he is an dedicated Muslim and believe that his life is only in the hands of Almighty Allah who is the giver and taker of live.
The affable Lawyer stated that he is not afraid of loose talkers like Kennedy Agyapong who have no respect for the people they represent and the High office of a Member of Paliament.
It may be recalled that recently Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, on his television station Net 2, threatened to burn the former President John Dramani Mahama and four others including Hon. Baba Jamal Esq.
The others included Col. Gbevlo Lartey, former National Security Coordinator, Hon. Asiedu Nketia, the General Secretary of the NDC and Joshua Akamba, the National Organizer of NDC.
According to one of the longest serving legislators in the 4th Republican Parliament, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, the former President John Dramani Mahama and the four others are behind the recent burnings of the markets and other state institutions.
The MP stated that they know the residents of the persons mentioned above and that they will burn their houses and also burn them alive. That his boys are waiting for his command.
However in an interview with Hon. Jamal on this Christmas wished all day, he started by wishing all Ghanaians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year.
He stated that he will continue to work for the NDC and help the building of democracy in Ghana. That all what he want to see is peace in Ghana especially in the face of a flawed general elections just held in the country.
He stated “Ghanaians must ignore the tantrums of people like Kennedy Agyapong who only seek attention and relevance through beating war drums. Almighty Allah will never allow their devilish intentions for this country to ever come true.”
The criminal statement made by Hon. Kennedy Agyapong which went viral on social media has sent some fears in Ghanaians and many are asking why till now the police has still not taking any action against him. Many Ghanaians are asking whether Hon. Kennedy Agyapong Is above the law?
