The NDC Youth Wing of the Ayawaso East Constituency, in Accra have kept making the failed governing NPP in the area uncontactable.
Hajia Marriam Ibrahim led Ayawaso East NDC Youth wing followed the hugely attended Health Walk held with a campaign launch to join the country’s rescue mission led by President John Dramani Mahama.
The massive patronage of NDC activities every now and then makes the ruling NPP in the area desperate and confuse on how to counter to be relevant before the Ayawaso East Electorates.
In her welcome address, Hajia Marriam Ibrahim made the youth understood that Ghana under Nana Akuffo-Addo is sinking because of hardship, and massive corruption which engulfed the country.
She appealed with the youth to help former President John Mahama to rescue Ghana for the betterment of all Ghanaian especially the youth.
Alhaji Said Sinare, former Ambassador to Egypt and National Vice Chairman of the party urged the supporters and sympathisers to come out in their numbers on December 7, 2020, to vote for the NDC to rescue Ghana from ‘criminals’ who are enriching themselves with state resources.
He posited that, “we need John Dramani Mahama to change the change”, this was as a result of the kind of hardship the Nana Akuffo-Addo led NPP government brought to the people.
He further added that it behooves upon every NDC especially the floating voters to go and exercise their franchise before intending to travel because the country needs to be recued.
Hundreds of the youth and Nima residents who echoed Alhaji Sinare’s new Hausa slogan and danced to the party songs were angrily chanting and calling for real change.
The former Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt explained that Nana Akufo-Addo in opposition labelled the erstwhile NDC/ Mahama administration as corrupt and asked Ghanaians to vote against the NDC, however, after assuming power the NPP administration shows deep rooted corruption than any other Political party since fourth Republic.
He cited recent in famous Agyapa Royalties deals, Missing 500 excavators which could not be found, Cash for seat and the fraud in PDS deal amongst lots of other scandals which Nana Akuffo-Addo and his family and friends government were involved.
President Akuffo-Addo is “Ambassador of Corruption” who easily bamboozles Electorates for their votes, he stressed.
Other dignitaries who graced the event include National Youth Organiser, George Opare alias Pablo and his deputy, Edem Agbane, Regional youth Organiser, Mustapha Nii Ashong amongst and his deputy, Amos Blessing Amorse amongst others who took their turns to address the teeming youth who converged at Nima Trotro station.
The NDC is sure of a one-touch victory in the upcoming general elections for the country to be rescued from the wrong hands, but it left with the NDC youth to gunner votes of the floating voters and sympathisers by making them to go out to vote to guarantee the awaiting victory.
