For once I can boldly say the leadership of the NDC are on top of the game and we the grassroots stand firm to support them.
I was with the General Secretary, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia at the office of the Electoral Commission, EC and am very satisfied with his statement as he boldly confronted them with the reality behind the walls of Ghana ‘Afghanistan fortress’ of Army and police personnel they are living in.
Let me quote from my General Secretary “you can’t frustrate us not to take part in this general elections, we will take part and win and you will declare us winners by the law that mandated you to conduct the General Elections”.
Indeed we have the men let’s all as grassroots members and youth activist come out in our numbers to educate the masses on the current happenings in our country and what new JDM is bringing on board. To the top, I’m now convinced solid enough to face any attempt to RIG the process.
I was glad I took part in the filing of nomination for the NDC Presidential Candidate, PC, former President John Dramani Mahama at the EC Headquarters.
My 2 major observations at the Electoral Commission that day were as follows:
(1) The NDC can never be intimidated. It’s a strong force to reckon with.
(2.) The EC is as weak as a dying man’s breathe. I’m beginning to believe all the nasty things being said about Jean Adukwei Mensah were true.
She didn’t know her Mic was on, coaching Bossman Asare every word to say. I mean every single word!
She even said “don’t mind them when they are asking you questions”.
And I couldn’t believe my ears when she said that, “thank you” and the ‘JON’ also repeated “thank you very much for the opportunity to be here”.
And then Madam Jean Mensah goes back to say “tell them every party was informed, that we haven’t had any other complaints” and the man also repeats it!
In conclusion… seriously, if this is how the show is being run there, then Ghana is heading in to a ditch! Because if Jean Mensah is also following orders from above.
Let No man or woman make a mistake to intimidate us for we shall resist any form of intimidation.
Let’s be vigilant stay strong and awake until the last ballot paper has been counted.
Together the recount is possible ✊
