The Hon. Assembly Member for Larweh Electoral Area in the Krowor (Nungua) Constituency, Lawrence Nii Bortey Borquaye in collaboration with an NGO called ‘DO CLOUDY FOUNDATION (DCF)’, based in JAPAN have donated food items to the aged and people with disabilities as an efforts to combat the impact of COVID-19 pandemic that has bedeviled the country.
The recipients numbering about 300 were elated with the gesture and ask for God’s blessings for the indefatigable Hon Assembly Member for the Area, Mr. Borquaye.
The food items include; Rice, Spaghetti, Canned Fish, Tin Tomatoes, Bottles of Oil, Milo and Loaves of Bread.
Hon Borquaye also used the exercise to promote hygiene and sensitize the recipients to continue to adhere to the Covid 19 Protocols of regular hand washing with soap under running water, wearing of nose mask, the use of hand sanitizers and the practice of social distancing.
According to some of the beneficiaries, recalled in an invite with National Tymes that during the partial lockdown of some parts of the Country, Hon Lawrence Borquaye made several donations to the electorates of Nii Larweh Electoral Area.
To this effect, they kept pouring God’s blessings on him and also thankful to the collaborators, DO CLOUDY FOUNDATION (DCF), based in JAPAN.
