THE FORMER Vice Chairman of the Electoral Commission (EC), Alhaji Amadu Sulley, has passed away this afternoon, according to information from his family.
The late Alhaji Sulley, a well-respected figure in Ghana’s electoral system, will be laid to rest on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Madina Muslim Cemetery. His burial will take place at 10 a.m., in accordance with Islamic rites.
Family members, friends, colleagues, and the Muslim community are invited to participate in the funeral proceedings, which will commence at his residence before the burial at Madina Muslim Cemetery.
Alhaji Amadu Sulley passed away on the first day of Ramadan while fasting, a moment of great spiritual significance in Islam.
